Who is responsible

The data controller for ramplet.com and Ramplet services is Double Point Consulting FZCO, A1 Building, IFZA Properties, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (trade license no. 9335). This policy follows the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we collect

  • Website visits: technical data such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, processed by our hosting provider to deliver and secure the site.
  • Invitation requests: your Instagram handle and any message you send us to request an invitation code.
  • Garmin MCP Connector: when you authorise it, fitness data from your Garmin account (e.g. activities, heart rate, sleep, HRV, training load) and the account identifiers needed to connect.

How we use it

  • To provide the services you request, including passing your Garmin data to Claude when you ask it questions.
  • To manage invitations and communicate with you.
  • To keep the services secure and fix problems.

We do not sell your data and do not use your fitness data for advertising.

Legal basis

We process data based on your consent (for connecting your Garmin account, which you can withdraw at any time), to perform the service you requested, and our legitimate interest in operating a secure website.

Sharing with third parties

  • Garmin Ltd. — the source of your fitness data, under Garmin's own privacy policy.
  • Anthropic PBC (Claude) — receives the data needed to answer your questions, under Anthropic's own terms and privacy policy.
  • Hosting and infrastructure providers — process data on our behalf to run the services.
  • Meta / Instagram — when you contact us via Instagram.

Some of these providers are located outside the UAE. We rely on their contractual and security safeguards for such transfers.

Retention

We keep data only as long as needed for the purposes above. When you disconnect your Garmin account or ask us to delete your data, we delete stored connection data and fitness data within a reasonable time, unless we are legally required to retain it.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or a copy of your personal data, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also complain to the competent data protection authority. To exercise your rights, contact us via Instagram @stelveterani.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, but no system is completely secure. See our legal notice for limitations of liability.
